The Latino community across our country is navigating serious and growing challenges. Increasingly, we are seeing policies and rhetoric that place Latino families and immigrants under strain, threatening the stability and opportunity that all communities deserve. These developments not only impact immigration but also affect access to education, health care, and economic support systems—widening gaps and making it harder for Latino individuals and families to thrive.
In times like these, unity and leadership are essential. LULAC is proud to be at the forefront of efforts to advocate for equity, dignity, and opportunity for all. This year’s LULAC National Convention will highlight those shared values under the theme, “Diverse Roots, Shared Dreams.” Your presence will help lift that message.
All LULAC Council members across the country are encouraged to attend, and it is especially important that LULAC Florida is strongly represented. Florida’s diversity is a powerful reflection of our broader community, and your participation will amplify our collective voice. Many members of the Florida Executive Board and Council leadership will be attending—we hope you will join us from Wednesday, August 6 to Friday, August 9, 2025, at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California.
There’s still time to register at www.lulac.org/convention25/registration/. Let’s come together to share our stories, stand for our values, and help shape a future built on dignity, opportunity, and justice for all.
